Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with
Windows 2003 Terminal Services redirecting print jobs to
the wrong session? We are having to support an ungodly
amount of printers and we have run into this problem twice
now. The first time it was a printer that was connected
directly to the client machine. This last time it was a
network printer. We have 14 Terminal Servers in the data
center and 146 remote sites that connect in. The printer
types have been different everytime, however the location
receiving the print jobs has been the same but two
different printers at that location. The print jobs have
originated at 3 different locations. I can not duplicate
the problem. Has anyone else had this problem and is
there a fix for it.

This happens when you manually assign printers to TS*** ports och
map to LPT1.

What if there are no manually assigned printers? There
are no printers actually installed on the server just the
drivers. Any other ideas?

I think that the base cause of the problem has been that the
autocreation of the users local printer has failed for one reason
or the other. This should have created an EventID in the EventLog
on the TS, which possibly gives some more information.
