Good point... but they certainly will NOT release it a day before it's
ready... so in theory, it could well be 2008 and onwards.. but it won't be )-- Zack Whittaker » ZackNET Enterprises: www.zacknet.co.uk » MSBlog on ResDev: www.msblog.org » Vista Knowledge Base: www.vistabase.co.uk » This mailing is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Actually, the delay is at the request of OEMs, Volume License customers will
still receive Vista in November, but consumers will receive it in January. I guess there will be a lot of Upgrade coupons to Vista with PC purchases in November. ![]() -- -- Andre Windows Connect | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta |

What do you mean by not exactly? Yes, not all OEMs are in agreement, but the
really big ones, Dell, HP, Gateway certainly are. This announcement will probably affect mostly small, white box vendors. -- -- Andre Windows Connect | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta Not exactly -- Peter Please Reply to Newsgroup for the benefit of others Requests for assistance by email can not and will not be acknowledged.
