Default Setting up a "Network Place"

In XP, you could set up a "Network Place". I had my domain, on a remote server, set up this way so I could access it just as if it were another computer on my drive on my own system (after logging on, of course). I have looked for the equivalent operation in Vista but haven't been able to find it. Could someone point me in that direction? I find it a very convenient way to handle my domain files.

Thank you!
