Unable to get network working due to lack of network driver...
Hi.
I am playing around with Windows Vista Beta 2 b5308 since I just installed it today. I have no network due to lack of network driver according to Device Manager. Ethernet Controller shows a yellow "!". Where can I get the driver from? According to Windows XP, it uses a Yukon Marvell network driver. I have not found a Vista driver on the Internet. I also do not have the original CD/disks that came with this motherboard/computer. I have the same network card. It might be worth trying the 64 bit XP
drivers that are available, but there is no guarantee that they will work. I don't think the Vista drivers have been released yet. |

You could try using the Windows XP driver or check the manufacturers website
for available drivers or beta drivers that currently support Windows Vista. OK, there are XP drivers. I will try those.

It installed, but it doesn't seem to find the Internet. I cannot connect
to any Web sites. Pinging seems to work. Set your IP address to static and see if that work.
