Default Anyway to upload all my inbox back to the server?

I have downloaded all my mails from server to local.
Since that is family account we share among family, I need all mails back on
the server.

Is there anyway to upload all my inbox mail back to the server?
I need them back on the mail server ASAP.....

Depends on you e-mail client. But you'll probably have to forward them back
to your own e-mail address. Before do, you need to select the "Leave a copy
of messages on server" option in the account's properties, so that when you
download you just download copies. Otherwise you might end up forwarding
them then getting them all right back before you can stop it. But like I
said, it all depends on how you do your e-mail.

I've checked "Leave a copy of messages on server" option only after
downloaded 600+ mails... sigh
I thought if there is a way to do so, then from Windows Mail, not from my
e-mail provider. But I will check with my e-mail provider as well which is
Yahoo.

With a POP3 server, your only option is forwarding them all, as Clueless
said. If your email provider allows IMAP access alternatively, you can
create an IMAP account in OE and simply drag and drop all messages on
the server.

I was looking at the properties of my e-mail account and I noticed that
there is no option to select "Leave a copy of messages on server". Is this
because my e-mail account(Hotmail) is on a HTTP server?

Hi Roland.
I have checked with my e-mail provider which did not support IMAP.
I guess that my only option is to forward all 600 mails back to myself.
Still in shock, but thank you for your help.

You don't need to forward them one at a time, you can mark a group of messages and forward them as attachments in one message.
Then the receiver will have them in their original form too.

Try this: Copy all the messages into a new folder called Xfer. Then once
you do that, do a File | Folder | Compact on the Xfer folder. Then close OE
and zip the Xfer.dbx file. That will make it much smaller.

Then you can use the method in the last paragraph on this page
(www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx) to import the file into other persons' message
stores, such as your family members. If you can get that file available to
them, then they can get all the messages that way.
