Yes. But you don't say what problem or error message you are getting when
you try so it's hard to be more helpful. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. |

If you are "dual booting" you can go to the XP install, open Outlook Express
and open the folders you wish to save mail from, selecting all (Ctrl+A) then just drag/drop them into an Explorer folder you create (give them a name so you can remember which is which, i.e., Inbox, Sent Items, etc.). The drag/drop to the folder you create will save them all as EML files. Then boot into Vista and open the folders you wish to save them to, and drag/drop from the folders you created into the Preview Pane in the appropriate folder in Windows Mail. If you're not dual booting, you might want to use a DBX extractor such as DBXtract or DBXpress from www.oehelp.com to help Steve with his programming efforts relating to mail programs in Windows. -- Jim Pickering MVP-Outlook Express/Windows Mail Please reply to newsgroup only so that others may be helped with your feedback. |
