The original OEM pack that had W95 in it came with a bootable
floppy disk and the cd with Windows on it. The floppy did not
come with a cdrom drive in the boot routine. One had to add the
cdrom driver install routine to the config.sys and autoexec.bat
files so that the cd could be "seen". I usually added the
oakcdrom.sys driver and linked it with the mscdex.exe for a
generic solution, other cd drives had proprietary drivers.

"Downloading" what you seek would be against the law.

later,
charles.....

I'd suggest that you use the Win98 boot floppy from www.bootdisk.com.
It has the CD-ROM drivers. I still use that once in a while.
