Default screensaver

My screensaver keeps turning off and returning to the desktop without anyone
touching anything near the computer. Could it have anything to do with the
optical mouse? Please help!

Possibly. Vibrations transferred to the surface that the mouse is resting
on can cause enough motion that input is being created. That input would
end the screensaver.

When leaving the computer, try turning mouse upside down. Position
carefully so there is no pressure on buttons or wheel. If this helps, check
settings in your mouse software for a way to dial down sensitivity. This
type of setting is only available is your mouse drivers or mouse software
provide it.

Thanks. I tried turning the mouse over this afternoon, and that seems to
have done the trick!
