Default cable internet and DNSServerSearchOrder Failed problem


My internet setup is like this

Win Xp op system conected through a Dlink wired router and cable modem.

when I clink on some link the page does not open and after that I
cannot access any page.

If I check on the Local area connection on the task bar by rt clicking
and check status it show connected and yahoo messenger also shows
connected.

Now when I run netsh diag gui comand from Command prompt it show this
error
DNSServerSearchOrder (FAILED)
204.127.203.135 (PASSED)
216.148.225.135 (PASSED)
255.0.255.255 (FAILED)
Pinging 255.0.255.255 with 32 bytes of data:
Destination specified is invalid.
Destination specified is invalid.
Destination specified is invalid.
Destination specified is invalid.
Ping statistics for 255.0.255.255:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss)


How can I fix this problem of DNSSERVERSEARCHORDER FAILED.
I enabled netbios over TCP/IP
