Seriously...
Ask and WAIT... Don't expect an answer within 5 minutes of asking. This is a peer-to-peer newsgroup that is replicated across thousands upon thousands of other servers that deice to pick up the feed. Give time for the question to get out there and get read/thought about/answered. Posting the same question over-and-over may end up annoying the very person who might have an answer for you. People can be fairly sensitive with their time and where/whom they spend it on. You did not do this, however - don't go multiposting the question in every available newsgroup. If you feel your question is relevant to more than one newsgroup, cross-post at least. The multi-posting thing is annoying at best and is the least efficient way for you to ask and others to answer/read the question/answers. Essentially - the Time Zone setting is a registry value. If you create the registry (*.reg) you need and psexec merge that into the remote computer's registry - you should be good to go (after a reboot, probably.) Look in your registry here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\TimeZoneInformation and here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Time Zones Good luck. -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html |
