Issue A

From all Microsoft Office applications I have only
the viewers for PowerPoint, Excel and Word 2003 installed.
The security patches 923272(MS06-062) and 923276(MS06-060) don't install
at all. I get the error message "update can't be installed".

MS claims they both indeed apply to 2003 Viewers:
"Microsoft Office Word 2003 Viewer - Download the update (KB923276)"
"Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2 - Download the
update (KB923272)

Microsoft Excel 2003 Viewer
blablabla
Microsoft Word 2003 Viewer"

Why the installation problem ?

One of the links in Security Bulletin MS06-059 states
"Microsoft Office Excel Viewer 2003 - Download the update (KB923088)".
But if I invoke that I am directing to page "Security Update for Excel
Viewer 2003 (KB923275)".
Why this redirecting from KB923088 to KB923275 ?
