have been receiving lot and lots of failed e mails, that are returned to me
by 'mail demon' and others from addresses I don't recognise and to people
I've never heard of! Recently I've sent a couple of e mails to people that
haven't arrived with them.
Could I have some sort of virus that is using my e mail though not
necessarily my address book??
Appreciate any advice.
Thank you P

While you could certainly have a virus - and the way to be sure your
computer is clean is to scan with a current version av (not earlier
than 2005) with an active subscription and updated virus definitions -
this type of spam is extremely common.

So make sure your machine is virus/malware-free:

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting
this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).
