Help: WIne producing nothing but "D" processes.

Mandrake Linux 9.0 Wine 20030508

It started with file sharing prog WinMX, but now all processes end up as
zombie "D" processes. This is mildly annoying, because the only way to get
rid of these processes is to reboot ... and when booting up DevFS assumes
I haven't unmounted my HD, and thus takes ages scanning the whole thing
for errors.

It's also annoying because I can't use any of my Windows progs.

Would be a good idea to upgrade to 9.2, unless you have a good reason
not to do so.

Upgrading to a modern filesystem like ext3 should solve the problem
