Default Variations of a sound

Disco Daydream: Fun! Hate the snare drum sound; it gets lost. Nice bass
tone. Really like the track overall!

I always ask the engineer where he likes to go, then take a hard listen to
the tone on the first song. If it's bumping and full, I let him run the
show his way. If I can hear clicks, clacks, or bright metal sounding
attacks, I tell him where I'm headed. Usually don't have a problem after
that... they're there to provide a service, for a fee. They usually try to
make you very happy, or they can't get paid! lol

Welcome, Heyko!

Heyko,

Those songs are GREAT! I enjoyed everything about them, the lyrics, the
music, and the musicianship (especially your bass playing). Thanks for
putting them out there! When will you be adding more?

I hadn't realized before, but in fact I'm not too excited about the
snare sound either. I'll talk to our drummer about this... on second
thought I'd rather not talk about drum sounds with a drummer ;-)

Peace,
Heyko

Wow, that's high praise and believe me - you really shoudn't mention
Rocco's name in the same sentence as mine; except for stating that he
has been (and still is) indeed a great influence on my playing.

Really

I know someone was gonna comment on this ;-) No, that's not me but our
guitar player. I'm the big fellow behind him. IIRC the photographer
told us to look like we played music with cojones... *g*

A whole album isn't exactly planned yet; all I can offer you is a copy
of the demo with four songs, but we have a harddisk recorder in our
rehearsal room and will probably work on new songs without a time
agenda. All I can offer right now (besides the demo) is a CD-R with a
couple of live tracks. I'm really glad you like our sound.

Peace,
Heyko

I'm absolutely sympathetic to your objection, but if you're really
interested in our songs you could just log in by giving them a fake
adress or something like webmaster@mp3.com ;-) Make sure the spam hits
the right target *eg*

Update: Finally mp3.com approved our last new song ("Diva"). It's not
exactly a bass-feast but I would be interested in your comments
nevertheless.

Peace,
Heyko
