DEB HAUS NAMED VP OF MARKETING & ARTIST DEVELOPMENT

NASHVILLE, Tenn. ? Sony Music Nashville President John Grady announced
the promotion of Deb Haus to Vice President of Marketing and Artist
Development. Haus will oversee the Marketing, Artist Development, Creative
Services, Music Video, and International departments at Sony Music Nashville;
she will report directly to John Grady.

"It gives me great pleasure to promote Deb Haus," says Grady. "Her passion
for music and her creative talent are a perfect marriage with the job that
needs to be done here. She has an enormous role in the new Sony Music
Nashville."

The Texas native began her fif**** year career with Sony Music Entertainment
when she was hired as a College Representative while attending the University
of Texas-Austin. From that position, she was then promoted to Account Service
Representative for the Southwest Branch of Sony Music Distribution. In 1994,
Haus transferred to the Sony New York headquarters where she served as
Manager, Point of Purchase for Sony Music Distribution. Three years later,
Haus relocated to Nashville accepting the position of Associate Director of
Marketing. In 1999, she was promoted to Director of Artist Development and in
2001 became Vice President of Artist Development.

Sony Music Nashville is a division of Sony Music Entertainment and home to
the country music division of Columbia Records, Epic Records, Monument
Records, and the rootsy imprint Lucky Dog Records. What began as the CBS
presence in country music in 1962 with artists such as Marty Robbins, Jimmy
****ens, and Barbara Mandrell is now part of an international company that
consistently stretches the boundaries of country music while honoring and
preserving its roots. In the past few years, Sony Music Nashville has been
at the forefront of the industry with the breakthrough successes of the Dixie
Chicks, Montgomery Gentry and Buddy Jewell along with the reintroduction of
veteran hitmakers Travis Tritt and Marty Stuart.
