Default Mesquite Guitar Festival (stories free)

Mesquite Guitar Festival is a free 3 day guitar festival to
be held mostly at Eastfield College( go to www.eastfieldcollege.com
for more info.) It's to be held Fri, Sat. and Sunday.
They'll be concerts, workshops.....the town gazebo
will be open on Sunday evening for guitarists who want
to swap stories or songs.
Nokie Edwards(Ventures), Art Greenlaw and Thom Bresh will hold a
concert at the Mesquite Arts Center on Sat. Night from 7:30 to 10:30. It
doesn't say if this is free.
I'm in no way connected to this..just saw it in the newspaper
this morning and giving a heads up to those interested.
I am planning on going to the gazebo on Sunday evening. Both Eastfield
College and Mesquite are located about 10 miles of Dallas on Hwy 30.
Anyone interested in meeting there on Sunday, give me a shout.

Jerry,

I saw Art at Summer NAMM and that's when I first found out about it. It
appears this is the first year. I want to get involved next year.

Thom Bresh is a mighty fine guitarist. I'm also familiar with
Nokie Edwards from those old days, and he's good, too. I am not
familiar with Art Greenlaw, but if he's in the right company
then he's got to be a good'n.

I'm attending a chamber music festival on Saturday, all day. My
daughter plays in several of the groups. :-)
