Suggestions for 12 bar blues songs in Key of A, E?
Get hold of Eric Clapton's album "From the Cradle". Most of the songs on it
are straight 12 bar blues (or slight variations) and you can hear and play
along with a master at the peak of his form.
Here are some of the songs with the keys noted. You might like to try the 12
bar in keys other than A or E. The song in B you could play with a capo on
2nd fret and use the chords in A to play along.
Almost any Clapton album will feature some 12-bar blues. The other notable
one is unplugged.
Songs from "From the Cradle":
Hoochie Coochie Man (A)
How Long Blues (E)
I'm Tore Down (C)
Motherless Child (B)
Reconsider Baby (G)
Sinner's Prayer (E) --- slight variation on the usual 12-bar progression
Third Degree (G)
