Yes! He was quite good in the late 60's, early 70's. He made a change
from the usual BLooZ drivel/ shite that one had to put up with. But he
proved ever since that all he really does is play badly mixed six
string devil noodling over otherwise perfectly average backing tracks.
Has he ever played a chord or used a clean tone?! I'm sure you're the
boy to know about this!
I'm sure Britney Spears management would rent him for one of her tunes
if they thought it was worth it.
At least he's unlikely to make anything quite as bad again as he did
when he made that dreadful album (yonks ago!) in colaboration with
John McLaughlin. That was the biggest load of king's new clothes
almost ever!
