I think Julie’s Concert is turning out great, better than expected.
Julie has the rough dancers up playing and the fringe riders strutting
their stuff. At first I thought I wouldn’t bother, so many concerts are
a bore these days.
At first I thought H*** no, I wouldn’t play in the barnyard but……..
I know a few would really get a kick out of it. So…
I decided to bring my 357 with me. Any c*** from the peanut galley or
the Mo, just blow them away. That would make great reading for guitar
history…… think about it. 🙂
S***, watch this little snakey little blues thing I’ve got going. Get a
gripe on these riffs Rich, kick in so Che’ can burn.
Let’s gorge sound to the roofbeams then settle down and listen to
Julie’s Compestalana. I sorta’ figure she serious and maybe
a little crazy but she’s got it going now. Have you considered much
wine and cheese afterwards? I’m getting a little hungry.
Suite Compestalana is a wonderful composition. I studied this for a
masterclass years ago with a very good Segovia student.
I learned a great deal about the “constrast” involved. Learned I was too
charmed by this music in the masterclass. That can lead to missing some
of the musical quality… so I learned to keep my I, out of the way…..
I do most often, but sometimes the devil makes me do things.
I am laughing….. I’d love to play “A Tale of Two Julies” for a few of
you. You’d ask me how in the H*** I’m doing that with the right hand.
I’d tell you that’s Che’ism……check this out. 🙂
