Ok, this a long shot:
I am on the lookout for a Roland AF-100 Bee Baa fuzz pedal.
I am either willing to trade for an ADA ampulator, or simply cash…
If any of you out there are interested in the ampulator and got some other
interesting pedal to trade with, give me a holler (btw. I am also looking
for a SIB varidrive, and a ZVEX fuzz factory…).
If you dont know the ampulator, here’s a description I found recently:
” … this is a very rare
piece that is no longer manufactured, designed for use with a guitar
preamp, the Ampulator uses a 12AX7 tube in a push-pull circuit to
accurately simulate a tube power amp. Many adjustable parameters,
including Class A, B or AB, power amp wattage (20 watts for a very
squashed tone to 200 watts for tons of clean headroom), rectifier
modes, bias, hum injection, tone controls. Does not function as a
standalone preamp, but a terrific poweramp simulator. Can go direct to
the board or into your solid state poweramp and cabinets. Includes
ADA’s famed Microcab speaker cabinet simulator onboard (it’s
defeatable) which simulates 1X10, 1X12, 2X12 and 4X12 cabinets, open
backed or closed, with presence and “thump” controls — great for
recording or sending your signal to the board. These are difficult to

Now, this really is a long shot.
I’ve no idea what “year” you left this post on. But, If you still want to trade an “ampulator” for a Roland Bee Baa then post a reply with an email and I’ll get back to you. I think that the particular Bee Baa that I have sounds a lot like a DIY Big M*** that I made, so I don’t really need it anymore.
Having said that, if you need the twin fuzz sounds or the “treble” boost feature, or your hearts just set on that “F@#%IN’ NASTY!” sound then let me know.
