Barkeria lindleyana

LOve this on Gary, I have this plant but it has never bloomed for me.
Any tips to get it to flower?

I cannot keep this one in a pot and it won't flower for me until it has
developed a keiki with roots going everywhere. That keiki will flower and
all the ones after it, but not the plant stuck in the pot. Sounds crazy but
that's my experience. Does that help any?
