not a new fad medication and I'm really surprised you haven't heard of it
before as I believe its been talked about on *behavior. The cost depends on
the vet and the dosage. Its not inexpensive. IIRC I paid $90 for a month
prescription for a 55lb Boxer.

I used it for a time on my Akita who was going through separation
anxiety. It didn't seem to have any appreciable effect.
