Default Lambriar Kennels..anyone got any info?

Hi Stephanie,
I was just looking up "Lambriar Kennels" on Google when I was linked to your post here on talkaboutpets.com. I just bought a little Maltese from a local pet store and I see in his packet of registration materials that he came from a breeder in Yates Center, Kansas, and went to Lambriar Kennels. The paper I have came from the AKC and is adted Dec. 01, 2003. My puppy was micro-chipped by Lambriar Kennels on Oct. 16, 2003. I had no clue I was buying a puppy mill puppy. But we now all love him, and the vet says he's in great health, except for kennel cough. If you find out any info, post it on here! Thanks!

Just an fyi. The vast majority of pet store puppies come from puppy mills.
Some pet stores carry local backyard breeders' puppies as well. None of
them are ever from good, caring breeders who breed for health, temperament
and a love of their breed. If they did, they wouldn't be shipping puppies
to stores to live in small cages, be oohed & aahed over by a large number of
people each day, and purchased by whomever (normally an impulse purchase
because the person feels sorry for the puppy but doesn't necessarily think
through the next 10-20 years of living with, and caring for, a dog).
