I feed my ferrets a beef slurry. I had some allergy problems with the kids,
so I got them off chicken and corn.
That seems to be the 2 most common allergens in ferrets. As you can see,
sometimes they have company over for supper.

The spot on the companies shoulder is where she was allergic to Revolution.
She's fine with Advantage and ivermectin for heartworms.

Omagosh, what the heck is in Revolution that would cause that????
Geeeze, poor little thing! I'd be tempted to take a picture of that
shoulder and send it to makers of Revolution.

I feed my kids turkey because of Kylie's inability to seem to keep
chicken down. It's interesting - I had no idea other people were
having trouble with chicken. Everything we see for ferrets is chicken
based. My vet recommended turkey, so I just went to it....maybe I'll
make up a batch of beef soup and see how it goes over. Thanks for the
idea!
