Default Canary flying question

Hello,

Is it OK to leave our Canary inside the bird cage or do they require flying
time outside the cage? This is our first bird.

Best regards,

RG

It's always healthier for our winged ones to be able to fly, if it can be done
safely. If the bird is not tame, the stress of trying to catch it, and put it
back in the cage, may be more harmful, than healthful. The next best thing
would be to build him as large a habitat as you can provide.

How do you tame a Canary? Ours is in a big cage. When we first got the
bird home, it was quite tough catching him to put him in the cage.

best regards,

If he's an adult, you probably won't be able to really hand tame him, but he
may learn to take treats from your hand.

Default Canary flying question

Hello,

He is just learning to sing, I believe he is young. So are you saying to
get him used to me by trying to hold food for him to eat? What happens
next, will he climb up my arm?

Best regards,

RG
