Default GC Conure - Black tipped feathers?

My green cheeked conure recently moulted and for the first time some of the
feathers on her wings and back have black tips instead of the standard all
over green.

She's very happy and not showing any change in personality or mood. I did
change her diet as recommended by the local breeder from just basic labelled
"parrot mix" to a pets at home (uk) brand for "african greys and all
conures". Could this be causing it?

Otherwise, any idea if it means stress or unhappiness or is it just
something that's going to happen as she gets older?

One thing I've noticed is she has been flying a lot more recently rather
than using her feet, she used to climb a lot more rather than wing it.

Thanks for any advice!

Nasty stuff is petsathome rubbish. Go to http://www.robharvey.com and get
something decent. Ask for witte molen parrot premium. It is simply the best
you can get and is used in zoos all over Europe.
They do mail order. It's what I use here because I love my birds.
The black marks could be stress marks.

That's completely normal. Adult GCC's have black tips on most
of their green feathers. If you see stress bands (small areas of
discolored and/or thinning feathers that run perpendicular to the
feather shafts) then you might have a problem. Otherwise don't worry about it.

Her wings may have been clipped at an early age, and now she's
honing her flying skills.
