Sick Love bird
news:<Q5idnS3qmsfzpb_fRVn-hw@comcast.com>...
Someone named "Amy" posted the following on the 5th to rec.birds, and then
again here two days later after I told them the obvious which is to take the
poor thing to a vet trained in the care of birds.
"Hi,
Can someone help me please, my mums lovebird keeps having fits and
shes not sure why, my dad thort it mite be the scented candles we had,
but the birds still having them. the bird thrashes around at the
bottom of the cage and then cant fly back to the perch from which it
fell.
If anyone can suggest what it mite be, then that'll be a great help.
Cheers
Amy"
To be honest, when I see posts like this i want to tell them they are nuts
for going on a newsgroup and asking such a ridiculous question. OF COURSE
you take the bird to a proper vet IMMEDIATELY. If your mother was flopping
around on the floor would you ask a newsgroup what to do?
Instead, for many years now, I respond to posts like yours politely in the
hope that they will take my advice for the sake of the suffering bird.
As for your comments about men, I think women are by far the better of the
two genders, and men have their head up their ass most of the time. YOU are
wrong.
