Sick Love bird

Hi,
Can someone help me please, my mums lovebird keeps having fits and
shes not sure why, my dad thort it mite be the scented candles we had,
but the birds still having them. the bird thrashes around at the
bottom of the cage and then cant fly back to the perch from which it
fell.
If anyone can suggest what it mite be, then that'll be a great help.

Do they have vets where you are? If so, take the bird to one.

I rsponded to this same post in rec.birds when you posted it there on 2/25
at around 8 am (over two days ago). You still haven't taken it to the vet?

Thank you for that wonderful bit of sarcasm there Dave but, I'll think
you will find that two of these articles were posted on the same day
and one the day before, as i didn't know if it had worked, so before
you start your little rant there check the facts first.

Also Dave if you actually read the email that was posted on the
23/2/05 you would notice that it wasn't me that posted it, as it is a
completely different query and person, but thank you for getting the
person wrong and the date, as it just goes to show that men think
there always right, when there not.

To be honest, when I see posts like this i want to tell them they are nuts
for going on a newsgroup and asking such a ridiculous question. OF COURSE
you take the bird to a proper vet IMMEDIATELY. If your mother was flopping
around on the floor would you ask a newsgroup what to do?

Instead, for many years now, I respond to posts like yours politely in the
hope that they will take my advice for the sake of the suffering bird.

As for your comments about men, I think women are by far the better of the
two genders, and men have their head up their ass most of the time. YOU are
wrong.

Well sorry to disappoint u once again Dave, but I didnt post any such
msg on the 25th, it was posted on the 26th, n twice on the 27th, so
please do check these things if your going to bitch about someone
asking for advice off of other people before they waste money that
does not necesarily need 2 b spent on vet fees, and I really dont
think that my mums gonna b flappin around on the floor waving her
wings in the air, considering she IS NOT (surprise) a bird, if you
don't like people asking for advice from other people then don't come
on here and read the comments.

zone change. I swear, at least learn to express yourself a little closer to
