So many of these suspicious inquiries and e-mails are coming from SBC.

I'm wondering if the unholy family has accounts with SBC.

I just got another one in my box, from a mailing list.

And it fits their m.o. - fake Irish name, trying to sound legitimate,
refusal to engage me directly, claiming they didn't see my own post,
lack of familiarity with the forums they're posting to or the sites
they're using. Just suddenly showing up (in this case, on a mailing
list with about four active regulars and that's it) as if it's nothing
and asking suspicious questions ("do the posts on this mailing list
go to everyone?" well yeah, idiot - it's a yahoo mailing list, or
is that another net institution you're unfamiliar with?)

My latest theory is that they know something is going on, they
know people are asking questions. Not that there is an official
'investigation' of sorts, but that people are asking questions.

If these nutters don't believe I'm alive now, they never will.
After all, they never met me face to face, and if I even approached
them, they'd probably think I was an imposter or 'replacement'
of some kind.

They are just irrevocably convinced that I have been 'handled'.
The 'alma mater' knows otherwise, though - that is clear.
