Two days ago, I took Vinnie to the vet because he was acting odd in the
litterbox, and generally didn't seem like himself. TED took blood and urine
tests; the results showed the problem is Vinnie's liver.

I was told there were three routes we could take:

One - take him to a specialist to have more tests, ultrasounds, bloodwork
and a biopsy to find out exactly what the problem is

Two - put him on a special diet and keep him going as long as possible

Three ................

We really don't know how old he is, but we figure he's somewhere between
13-16. After a good long talk with TED, I have decided not to put him
through further testing. He is on a special food and we're going to hope
for the best.

Purrs and prayers for him to stay for awhile would be most appreciated.

Purrs definitely coming! It is quite possible for kitties in this
situation to have years more of comfortable, happy life. We'll be
purring that this is the case for Vinnie.
