Default Coenzyme Q10

Jeremy got me looking at antioxidants again. (thanks.. hehe) Does
anyone know of any recent studies that show CoQ10 is helpful for
gingivitis in cats? Some old information I can find on the net didn't
indicate any proof to that effect. In humans, yes; cats no studies.
CoQ10 also has helpful effects for the mucous lining in the human
intestines but again the old info I can find show nothing definite for
cats. Any new stuff out there that isn't on the net? (other than
vitamin manufacturers sites)

Gracias.

I don't know, but you might try here

The guy who runs this, I believe, has done some studies on CoQ10 and dogs. And
also studied gum problems. I don't know if he has studied or is aware of
studies on cats.

Thanks Bill, I'll have a look at the link. I think this is a huge
area that hasn't really been studied in cats. Since I have a cat with
IBD I read a lot. Always trying to find something to help him.
