Default Please help with cockatiel cage

Hello,

I have a cokatiel since one day ago. It tries to get out of the cage,
and its head fits between the bars.

I know that I shouldn't have bought a cage like this, but all the
cages I found are one of these:
- with too much spacing, so the bird can get its head between the bars
- or too small for this bird, so the bird can't move.

So please give me a solution that you may know, or I will have to
bring back or give away the bird and the cage.

Thank you.

Buy a proper cage at a real pet shop. Fast! Before your new little buddy
gets hurt!

If you just happen to live in an area with few pet shops, and they don't
have the correct size cage, you can order one online from any of these.

www.petco.com
www.petsmart.com
www.drsfostersmith.com/
www.bird.com

I have purchased from all 4 of these sites and they ship fairly quickly.

Thanks. I saw there was no solution, so I returned to the shop and the
agreed to change it. Now I use one with bars less spaced. It's bigger
and the bird now is happier and walks better, and there's no risk for
him.

Excellent! Glad you got it worked out. Now you two can just enjoy each
other's company without worry.
