A discharge from the nose isn't good. Is it the only bird in the house or did
you put him in with others?

Is the sneezing done after a drink? If it is a baby, they are a little
clumsy drinking and they will get water in thier nose causing them to sneeze
and that could be the discharge, if not a vet call is most likely in order.

The best thing you could do is bring him to an avian vet and have a
well-bird checkup. Many birds bought from pet stores have been known to be
sick and the stress of the move to a new home can aggravate the illness, and
even sometimes kill them.

Let's hope he last til tomorrow. Did you know a sick bird only starts to
show symptoms when they're *really* sick? If you're putting antibiotics in
his water, they're too weak to help. You need to take the bird to a vet
immediatley.

well there's a red flag right there...

what the pet shop gave you is over the counter crap that isn't going to
anything. Pet stores are notoriously stupid. I should know, I work in one!!

Make sure you get him to an AVIAN vet asap (not one that just "sees
birds"). As Laurie said, birds have evolved to not display illness until
they are VERY sick (the bird that appears to be ill is the bird that
gets eaten).
