Default Lawn spray to dissolve dog poop?

With all the snow we have had this winter, I have really fallen behind
in mey dog poop clean up in my back yard. Now the problem is overwelming
with with wet mushy dog poop that is almost impossible to pick up. Is
there something that I can spray on my lawn that would help break up and
dissolve the dog poop? Is there any kind of folk remedy or safe enzyme
formulation that will do this?

You really can't pick up dog crap when it is covered in snow! So after
several weeks when the snow melts your left with a lot of mushy dog crap
that is hard to pick up. I asked a simple question I don't need the
insults dumb ass!

agree with you. There's always some smart ass who can't read the initial
post then has a stupid answer. It was a good question.

I wonder of that ridx stuff for septic tanks would do anything. Course
I'd be careful - they like to advertise that it's all enzymes.... could
turn out that it's some sort of really nasty toxic chemical.

Dear God, I sympathize with you. I was just looking out the window the other
day to where our two dogs go and wondered what we would do when all that
snow melts. Sometimes when that happens we don boots and go out and pick up
as much as we can, then wait for those hard rains of spring to help wash it
away.

I dread the spring clean-up, so i've been going out in the snow
(before the "next" snow) and scooping. Chipping away if necessary.
As much as it's a little more challenging to do this, it's more
pleasant than the yuck that comes when the snow thaws. And - on top
of the snow - it's easy to SEE!

My vet's husband calls late March/early April "dog shit and
beer cans," because that's what's uncovered when the snow
melts. If it's cold enough to freeze it's pretty easy to
pick up if you know where it is (fresh dog poop is warm and
sinks through snow). If you wait until the snow melts and
uncovers the mushy poop, you can still clean it up and you
probably should. There are scoopers that are essentially
small aluminum trays on a stick, and they come with rakes/
sc****rs to scoop the poop into the tray, which you can then
empty somewhere appropriate.

The enzyme stuff to bio-dissolve the poop doesn't work in a
Doggy Dooley if the temperature is below 40F, and it's a lot
less likely to work at the same temperatures on scattered
poop because the Dooley is a composter/cooker and you lose
the heat containment on loose poop. I really think your
best bet is to clean it up using a scooper of some sort.

I flush. It's simple and hygenic.

When I say I'm a poop flinger I'm being both literal and
metaphorical. On the literal side it gets flung into the
fields. (On the metaphorical side, I think we all know
where it gets flung.)
