Default stopping "abusive" sites or businesses??

I really appologize if this is in the wrong group or area. I have been
around here for a while, with all kinds of doggy questions.

But I received an email today which I thought was very disturbing. It is a
site that sells "Bonsai" kittens. They take a kitten that is less than a
few days old and put it in a bottle, where it can't move or play etc. It
"lives" inside this bottle so that it has no choice but to "grow" in the
shape of this bottle. They are fed or supplemented via feeding tubes or
straws. The web site is http://www.bonsaikitten.com/.

I know that there all kinds of really stupid and bizzare things that are
done to young puppies or kittens, which should not be allowed to continue.
I don't know if such "businesses" are legal, but I don't believe they should
be. This particular site was shut down once apparently, but has re opened
again. There is a petition floating around in emails asking for people to
"sign" to try to get the site closed down once again.

But I would think there must be something else that we can do, but I am not
sure what. Does anybody have any ideas as to what might be done. Is there
some agency or whatever that I could call or write to? Or is there anything
else that anyone can do or think of?.... While this particular site is
dealing with kittens, I know that there are other, equally cruel, things
being done to puppies also, or any animal for that matter. It would be nice
if these morons could be stopped, charged with cruelty to animals or animal
endangerment or something... and hopefully deter other cruel businesses from
starting or continuing.

Thanks!

It's a joke, or at least that's the site's intent.

idea to anyone?

yes, that's a good one. my favorite, http://www.manbeef.com, seems to be offline.
though http://www.fvza.org/ isn't bad either.

What would motivate someone to create a site like that? Clearly, the
owners are seeking attention but why that kind of attention?

There are many topics or people to satirize. Why pick on people who love
kittens?
