It is still alive, the poor thing, but I cant have it
drink milk. Is this a rabbit?

10 minutes later, a less fortunate one:

You need to take the rabbit to a wildlife rehabber immediately.

Here's a link that will help you find one in your area.

You might want to consider keeping your cat indoors now too?

This brings back memories. When I was 16 my dad came in from the garden with
a box of baby rabbits, just this size. He was going to put them under the
car exhaust, but I caught him before he could do that. So I was allowed to
keep them in the garage for the nite. But my mom forgot (or not??) to close
the door, and when I went to check on them the box was overturned and a cat
had gotten to all but one of the babies. I named him Belevedere, and fed
him milk through a dropper. He lived for about 5 days. Of course, back then
we didn't have any wildlife rescue shelters, and didn't even know about
specially made kitten formula. I still have pictures of little Belevedere.

I wish you well!!

They are to most folks that garden and refuse to invest in chicken wire
to keep the little rats out.

you cant blame a cat for being a cat. luckily there is a good steady
rabbitt population for all the preditors.i have a cat that catches
squirrells (among other things)and eats everything but the feet and tail
and a few guts.. she gets a tree between her and the squirrell then
waits for it to come around the tree on the ground and gets it.ive never
seen another cat hunt that way.. lucas

He obviously found the nest because those guys look young. be prepared
for it to come home with more if you keep letting him out.

This is what cats do, hunt rabbits, gophers, birds. Don't try to keep them
from doing what is natural in nature
