There are several good enzyme-based products that are made
to remove organic (pet stain) stains and smells. The most
available and cheapest is "Out" -- you can get it at Wal-Mart
and, imho, it works fine. There are others, of course. If you
have a pet store close by, stop in and see what's available.

I treat the urine immediately with Out, and then eventually
shampoo the carpet with a shampoo that is designed to attack
pet odors.

Follow the instructions on the package carefully for the best
results.

If so an enzyme based product called AirX by Spontex.
It can be purchased from a commercial cleaning shop.
