Default Barking mad...

HOWEDY Nikki,

Barking is a SYMPTOM of SUMPTHIN WRONG.

If that's all it takes, perhaps the person was CRAZY pryor to the dog barkin?

PERHAPS it was the dog that took advantage of stupid humans?

Kinda like pickin up a street person an bringin them
back to your HOWES to entertrain your SP-HOWES an kids...

It's DHOWETFUL the dog needed to LEARN to bark to
signal sumpthin's WRONG <{) ; ~ ) >

Yeah, that's on accHOWENT of dogs PAY ATTENTION to EVERY THING.

Certainly there's some degree of allelomimetic behavior
goin on, but dogs bark when they're FRUSTRATED trying
to GET THEIR MESSAGE across <{) ; ~ ) >

It'll drive him INSANE.

Barking is a SYMPTOM of SUMPTHIN WRONG.

Either that or IGNORING what's goin on.

Dogs do not do things for no reason.

Most of the DOG LOVERS here reply by choking and
shocking or spraying aversives in their dog's faces.

INDEEDY, on accHOWENT of it only INCREASES an***IHOWESNESS.

THAT'S HOWE COME THE MENTAL CASES here PREFER to SHOCK
and CHOKE and MURDER their dogs for not bein good...

Nice to meet you Nikki.

Here's a few of the LYING DOG ABUSING MENTAL CASES
you're posting to. They DON'T LIKE what you're tellin

An INSENSITIVE DOG???

Jerking choking and shockin and lockin dogs
in boxes and ignoring their cries makes their
dogs go "EWWWW" but they don't NOTICE
E***CEPT to spray BINACA in their eyes
and jerk and choke them on pronged spiked
pinch choke collars and shock and spray MOORE
aversives in their faces.

Do you think the citronella collar is CRUEL cause
the SMELL LINGERS after the dog's been sprayed
in the face and the dog won't know HOWE COME IT was MACED?

They're DUMB ANIMALS these MENTALLY ILL
LYING DOG ABUSERS HURT and MURDER.

Um, may I suggest a re-wording that might make
it clearer- given that "scruff shake" is too easily
misinterpreted as "pick the puppy up by the scruff
of the neck and shake the puppy in the air"?

I think I'd phrase it something like "if the puppy is very
persistant, it can be appropriate to take hold of the
loose skin at the back of the neck and give a slight
shake to the *skin*".

Janet's not talking about actually shaking
the puppy, which I think we ALL agree is
abusive."

Here's professor dermer instructing the scruff shake, collar
correction, and throwing a can of pennies, big spender that he
is...

"Life Is Just Too Serious To Be Taken Entirely Seriously!"

Is that the way you're going to earn her trust, professor? Why
five seconds, professor? They've got a scared aggressive dog,
professor.

Do you want to provoke the pup any moore than he is, professor?

Suppose the dog doesn't like being threatened for being scared,
professor? Suppose the dog never forgets, and some day when he's
big and you do something that triggers his thoughts to this
incident, professor? You could end up getting paid back IN
SPADES.

Ever hear of allelomimetic behavior, professor?

O.K. Is six enough? Before you said to punish the dog for five
seconds. Do we alternate telling the dog no or alternate scruff
shaking and holding the mouth shut, professor? Is that HOWE you
diffuse a scared dog, professor? What happened to your goddamned rice cakes?

You're going to punish the dog and wait for her to stew about it
for ten seconds, and then praise her? Suppose she don't want to
make up, professor? Tough $#!T?

I don't correct dogs professor, because it can make them worse
and get them DEAD, professor. Very DEAD. Like Fritz. Like
Sampson. Like that little DEAD DOG in "interested in hearing,"

collar.

Where would you throw the pennies, professor? That's not
something you've ever picked up from me, professor. Why
would you tug on the collar professor? Is that supposed
to condition the dog to understand you're not going to
ever hurt her? Hmm, professor?

And then it's over an you go to a paupers grave. j;~}

You failed to mention your pals the dahls are
proven liars and dog abusers, professor "SCRUFF SHAKE:"

"I Would Never Advise Anyone To Slap A Dog
I Do Not Believe There Is A Single Cir***stance
Ever, Where Slapping A Dog Is Anything But
Destructive," "I don't see why anyone would want
to choke or beat a dog, or how any trainer could
possibly get a good working dog by making them
unhapper, fearful, cowering, etc." sez amy lying frosty dahl.

amy lying frosty dahl continues:

"On the other extreme, the really ard dogs
we have trained require much more frequent
and heavy application of pressure (PAIN j.h.)
to get the job done,

This is continued resistance to your increasing
authority, and the job is not done until it is overcome

Get A 30"- 40" Stick.You can have a helper wield
the stick, or do it yourself. Tougher, less tractable
dogs may require you to progress to striking them
more sharply

Try pinching the ear between the metal casing and
the collar, even the buckle on the collar. Persist!
Eventually, the dog will give in

but will squeal, thrash around, and direct their
efforts to escaping the ear pinch

You can press the dog's ear with a shotshell
instead of your thumb even get a studded collar
and pinch the ear against that

Make the dog's need to stop the pinching so
urgent that resisting your will fades in importance.

CHUCK IT Under ITS Chin With That Ever Ready
Right Hand, As it catches on, try using the stick
and no ear pinch.

When the dog is digging out to beat the stick
and seems totally reliable without any ear pinch,
you are finished

If the dog drops it, chuck it solidly under the chin,
say "No! Hold!"

(stay on the ear until it does) (perhaps because
the ear is getting tender, or the dog has decided
it isn't worth it)" lying frosty dahl.

"Chin cuff absolutely does not mean slap,"
professora gingold.

lying frosty dahl sez she doesn't twist:

Jerry Howe's attacks, encourage anyone to
twist ears, beat dogs, confront, intimidate,
frighten, or any of the crap he constantly
attributes to me," lying frosty dahl.

BWEEEEAHAHAHHAAA!!!

"Pudge Was So Soft That She Could And
Would Avoid A Simple Swat On The Rump
With A Riding Crop," lying frosty dahl,
discoverer of CANNIBALISM in Labradors.

Perhaps the mom dog didn't want her babies
HURT all their lives like HOWE HOWER dog
lovers PREFER to HURT THEIR DOGS?

"John ran out, grabbed Blackie by the collar, and
gave the dog two or three medium whacks on the
rump with a training stick while holding him partially
off the ground. John then told Blackie to sit, ran back
to the line and cast him back to the dummies."

The Puppy Wizard sez a mom dog eatin her babies
to SAVE THEM from a fate like that, is COMMENDABLE.

We're gonna teach folks THAT AIN'T NORMAL...

Sez on our FAQ'S pages at K9 Web you should
knee the dog in the chest, step on its toes, throw
him down by his ears and climb all over it like a
****d ape growling into his throat and bite IT on
his ears, or leash pop it on a pronged spiked pinch
choke collar or pop him in the snout with the heel
of your palm.

"Many People Have Problems Getting The Pinch
Right, Either They Do Not Pinch Enough, Or They
Have A Very Stoic Dog. Some Dogs Will Collapse
Into A Heap. About The Ear Pinch: You Must Keep
The Pressure Up," sindy "don't let the dog SCREAM"
mooreon, author of HOWER FAQ's pages on k9 web.

THAT SO? Kinda like HOWE when you was teachin us your
"LEAVE IT" command, remember drunk drugged crazy taragreene2?

Here, TRY THIS.

Here's some PROFESSIONAL TRAININ ADVICE:
