Found this blog with several sets of photos of a ball python killing mice.
Is this animal cruelty?

Well, it's not nice viewing but the snake has to eat and they kill live
rodents etc in the wild. I think the only animal capable of cruelty to
another animal is the human being.

No, this is not animal cruelty. Snakes eat mice and larger snakes eat
rats and larger ones yet eat rabbits. Its the food chain.

Let me tell you what animal cruelty is:

Today I heard on the news that 27 dumped piggies were found in a forest
in Holland. Probably left there by a breeder who had to get rid of them.
Feed that guy to the snake! ;oP

I just hate when I hear piggiea are neglected

4 of my 12 piggies (9 have passed on already) have been ones that needed
new homes .i.e like Scoote,r Dillen & Riley--(andTazie--one of the 9)
could have ended up 'sheltered" but were not....

I shake the "cat food" box (meaning the piggie food comtainer) and the
fella's came-a-runnin'

Any one with a cat knows that when ya shake a cat food box--the cat
comes running.......!!

The same goes for piggies!

Same here:

1 of our piggies comes from the Dutch animal protection agency, and 2
come from a "piggy-shelter", one other we found ourselves, hopelessly
neglected, and number five (fortunately) came from a good home, so that
one had a happy life right from the start...

But, no matter where they came from: they all recognise the sound of
veggies coming their way!

Boy do they get a fix on that!
