Is it normal for a guinea pig to drink 21/2 bottles of water a day?
He is about 3 years old and he started to drink water like it was
going out of style when he was 2 years.
Panda eats normally but all he wants to do is drink his water.

No, it's not normal for a Guinea Pig to drink THAT much water. Some piggies
drink more than others, but when they drink the amounts that you are talking
about, then something might be wrong with Panda.

Excessive drinking COULD indicate that he has diabetes (vet can test that
with a drop of blood) or kidney insufficience (vet can test that by checking
the Specific Gravity of the urine). Or maybe something else is wrong with
him, that makes him drink so much.

I am not a vet, so I don't know what IS wrong with Panda. But what I do know
is that drinking 2 1/2 bottles of water per day is not normal.

Please take him to a vet that knows his exotics and have Panda checked.
