Just a quick update; despite the heat I created some really nice (pardon the
arrogance please) piggy screen savers and put them online. They are both
fulle customisable.

'Till now I made two, one with the 24 pictures some of you may know from the
cavy birthday calendar; almost all guinea pig breeds are included with this
screen saver.
The other screen saver shows the piggies of my sister and me, now a total of
eight (these cavies can also be seen at the new picture page I added to the
site)

The cavy birthday calendar and the two screen savers are located under the
new 'fun stuff' button at CaviAria (http://devoted.to/caviaria available in
English and Dutch)

If you'd like a screen saver with pictures of your own pig(gies), feel free
to mail me the photo's at caviaria@hotpop.com and I'll make and mail your
screen saver ASAP.

Have fun, and I'm serious about making a screen saver about YOUR piggies;
just mail some photo's (.jpg/.gif) and I'll send it to you.

I *knew* I got the idea for that name from someone.. was it you that was
joking about making an aria for cavies, couple of months ago?
I remember answering that you could also use that Dutch Bavaria beer slogan,
'zo nu eerst een bavaria' but than for cavies; 'zo nu eerst een Cavaria'.

If it was you, hope I didn't offend you; the name Cavaria kinda grew on me,
I changed it into CavIaria and used it for my very first website. I've been
thinking about who came up with the idea that evolved in my mind, so
creating the CaviAria name, but couldn't remember or I would have sent you a
'you were my inspiration'-note :-)

I can store up to 200 photo's in one screen saver :-) Just send me the best
pics at caviaria@hotpop.com (.jpg/.gif only please!) and I'll send you your
screen saver in no time... (especially if I receive the mail while I'm
working on my laptop..)

I'll be looking out for those pics, oh and just so you know: after I made
the screen saver I just delete the pics, I will not use them on my website
or in any other matter. Unless the photo is just tooo cute (LOL), in which
case I will always ask your permission first.

If you are running Windows XP you do not need to have a 3rd party program to run your pictures as a screen saver.

If you right click on an open space on your desktop then click 'properties' when the display properties come up, select the 'screen saver' tab. On of the selections is 'My Pictures Slideshow'. Click on 'Settings, and then under 'Use pictures in this folder:' click on 'Browse' and select the folder where your pictures are that you want to use for your screen saver.

I have a folder with about a thousand pictures in it.
