I would try to get some Oxbow Critical Care and syringe feed her several
times a day until she is eating normally. The Oxbow has probiotics in it as well as all sort of piggy vitamins needed to keep her strength up. It is a powder (anise or apple flavor) that is mixed with water and syringe fed. My pigs love it and even lap it off a spoon. I buy it from the vet's office. Phone Oxbow and find out who in your area is selling Oxbow products or check retail locations on their site: http://www.oxbowhay.com/link.sp?page=retail At the very least, you should be force feeding her with baby food veggies (in a 10cc oral syringe) and maybe even electrolyte solution (if she isn't drinking as much) so that she doesn't get dehydrated. As an aside, I would urge all you pig owners to keep a package of Oxbow Critical Care and 10cc oral syringes in your piggy first aid kit at all times. It has saved my pigs countless times during periods of illness. I wouldn't ever feel safe without it close by. And no...I am not an Oxbow dealer...just a concerned piggy owner! ![]() Mira Flash and Ginger |
