Default pomeranian temperment?

My Pop is still a pup at six months. We also have a cat. The pup wants
to try to play with this full grown feline and has been swatted for his
playfulness. So you see, in this case, the POM is friendly as can be
but the cat is not so much. Both are males. He is just starting to lose
the first set of teeth and has been using his pigs ears to chew on. He
LOVES to run and fetch... He loves us like crazy.

We would like to find the answer to potty training/ some days are better
than others. It is during these times I am reminded that cats rule and
dogs drool...the voice of the flying nun in my head.

I have a male 17 month old. He is the most affectionate dog I have
ever owned including a Golden Retireiver and a lovable mutt. He is
super intelligent and great with my 8 yr. old who is constantly
bugging him. He has never once growled or shown his teeth.

I too have read where Poms can be temperamental and snappish
especially with children.

I guess I got very lucky.
