We had a very special past Saturday out at the old cabin. I actually
took pictures of the rabbits hanging out. Soon to be posted.

Anyway big thrill number one was we went for a walk and we saw our first
wild rabbit! Well actually it was a huge varying hare. We didn't get a
picture of him as he was not too pleased we stumbled into his territory,
but we got a good enough look to identify him, no question about it. He
looked like just like this fella. (Scroll down and ignore the hunting
and eating stuff). I have been so pleased with all the wildlife we have
about the place, but this was the first time we ever saw a rabbit.
(Hare.) I'm thrilled. absolutely thrilled, that we have hare habitat!

Later that evening we went to a social. My daughter entered a draw for
prizes. She won, TWO toy bunnies, a big white stuffed Easter bunny with
flop ears and carrot decorations on his feet and a small realistic
looking brown version of Arwen. We put up a new shelf for the two new
bunnies to sit on.

So we have three new buns at our summer cabin!
