Default A word from my Leader...

The brave and fearless leader... Sgt. Major Todd Bunn Of the 3rd Bunny
Recon sits here, with the stern look on his face insisting that I type
this out per his specifications. There is good news in *HIS* household.
As some of the members of APR may remember, there were some terrible,
terrible people who had once lived next door to his beloved family in a
duplex. These "pillars of evil" wreaked such havoc on his beloved
family that his family began to break apart. He has insisted that his
Female hoomin search for a form of therapy to bring his beloved family
back together. She has (the she being me! OY! I swear this rabbit has a
tight leash on me!) He has insisted on nightly treats of apple sliver,
more hay than the hoomin male has been giving and both the male and
female hoomin to be in the same room together when nightly feedings are
to occur!

On to the good news. The Neighborhood "Axis of Evil" aka those
terrible, terrible people were met this morning at 7:50 am Mountain
time by the Land Owner and Sheriff's deputies with a Writ of Immediate
Eviction, plywood and new door locks! When our family awoke to car
doors slamming and voices being raised, I looked out and saw the
commotion. I would never have believed it had I not seen it first hand!
The weight of the world seemed to lift! No more cats... no more
trespassing... no more harassment... The peace would return and my
children would once again be able to play outside when the weather was
nice!!! It was so nice to be able to open my windows and doors today to
circulate fresh air (though it was cool and crisp outside!!) into the
house!!! It was nice to walk (not run) to and from the car without fear
of being harassed and threatened by a couple of psychos... It was nice
to be able to get ready for the day without having to go outside and
check our breaker box because these horrific monsters had tripped a
switch!!! For the first time since June, I wasn't afraid to go outside,
I wasn't afraid to get out of bed... I wasn't afraid... period!! And my
rabbits... They were actually relaxed!!! They weren't thumping every
few minutes! They weren't tense!!! They weren't constantly on the
alert!!! My rabbits didn't snort or lunge or act like someone was
trying to break in or act like something was wrong. They were....
content and happy!!!!

Great to see that the Axis of Evil with the Cats of Mass Destruction have
moved on to terrorize a new neighborhood, peace and tranquility have been
restored. Miss Ivy feels extra rations, i.e. treats, are deserved by all.

Thanks! I talked to the land owner and his relief and my relief are
definitely shared! I went out and thanked him once they were gone.
there were 2 guys helping him (they may have either been friends or
sons or nephews...) and when he filled them in on the details of the
nastiness of the ex-tenants and what they were doing to my family,
these guys wanted to hunt the people down and give them a taste of what
they gave to us. I laughed and told them to just let Karma do its work.
They'll get theirs.... in a very big way. I again, thanked them and the
Land owner thanked me for being patient during the legal proceedings...
Knowing what my dad and uncle had to go through when my dad was the
landlord for my uncle to evict problem tenants.... I just knew that I
had to bite my tongue. I'll tell ya though... I went over there this
afternoon (the land owner told me that I could if people needed help
going through the things left behind, just as long as the ex-tenants
didn't come back, then just call 911 and then call him) to see some of
the damage left behind.... I don't know how they didn't burn the place
down. not to mention that the smell that emanates from that place.... I
mean, when I was in nursing school, I used to have a class in the
cadaver lab.... there are certain smells.... I'll just leave it at
that.... but the smell that comes from this place.... wow! and I've got
a strong stomach too!! I turned and gasped for any breath of fresh air!
there was none!! So I left. I'm glad that I gave the land owner one of
my business cards (I'm a loan officer for a mortgage company) because I
hope he'll call me.

Yeah... while I'm relieved.... I would never wish those horrid people
on anyone.... *sigh* It's really sad that some other unsuspecting
family will now have to deal with those horrors. Waste Management is
going to have to bring out special containers to get rid of the
biohazard garbage left behind.... it's really gross. I really feel for
the land lord.... I really do!

oh man! talk about self control for me! After dropping my daughter off
at school, I came skipping inside the house and I jumped for joy!!
guess you could say that I kinda did a human version of a binky! oh it
really was silly looking but it really felt good!!! so binky all you
want! it really was worth it... silliness and all! Tonight I was
outside decorating for Halloween! 400 sq feet of cottony spider's
webbing across my front 1/4 yard! it looks really cool! I'm gonna go
pick up a couple strobe lights and hook them up behind the tombstones
and under the webs. my little 101 year old house is gonna kick some
royal haunted @$$ this year! I'm just popping in before I set up my
coffin! =)
