Default help with rabbit please (websites ?)

Ok quiet simple...

I posted a while back about getting a rabbit from the local pet shop that
was bald and little...

Well She is slowly starting to grow and also her fur is growing..but now I
have noticed a lump in the back of her head (just below her ears). I was
wondering if anyone could direct me to a website that I could read what it
is or does someone have some information about what it could be ? The lump
feels hard is and is about the size of a 20cent piece (big enough to notice
if you hold her long enough but in such a postion that unless she turns her
head or moves you carn't see it)

I took her to the pet shop I got her from and they have no idea. As I was
leaving I heard on the of staff comment to the other staff that the rabbit
has dimonty (or diamond?) problems. I have no idea what this and was
wondering if anyone has heard of this ? Or does this refer to the type of
rabbit ?

All replies would be great

Nic

You need to take the rabbit to the vet and see what the lump is. petstores
cannot diagnose medical issues..

It could be an abscess, but you do need to go to a vet and one that is an
exotics/rabbit expert. Check my site below to find one near you.

There is no blessing from God so sweet as having
two chocolate coloured bunnies melting in your lap
in the warm morning sun.

Hi Nic,

That's great that you are taking such good care of her. I'm sure she was
close to not being with us any more when you brought her home. That fact
that her hair is growing back is a very good sign.

She could have some type of skin condition, or abscess as Arlettealready
mentioned, or something entirely different. It could even be something
harmless, but you need to find out. Do you have a bunny vet there? I
would stay away from that pet store for opinions or anything else. If
they were saying they had no idea to you, but talking about something to
each other, that is just not fair. They are not vets anyway, and they
should have directed you to a vet.

Let us know!

Rhonda
