How much corn should my bunny be getting?
ok, since you do sound sincere, i need to tell you that your vet is
CLUELESS! your rabbit must not ever have corn to eat. it is one of the
worst things possible to feed him. also, cabbage is not wise to feed
because it is extremely gassy and will cause more problems.
you should give him/her hay and preferrably timothy hay unless it is a young
rabbit (less than one year old) then you can give it alfalfa hay as well.
also give your rabbit timothy based pellets (not the type with all the
pretty colored bits) at the rate of 1/4 cup per five pounds of rabbit.
have a look at http://www.carrotcafe.com for good information on diet.
have a look at http://www.rabbit.org for ALL things regarding rabbits including
medical problems, diet, etc.
good luck.
