Default I did it! I trimmed bunny nails!!

They SO desperately needed trimming, as it's been too hot to put him outside
where he likes to dig and keep them trimmed that way.. they hadn't been
touched in a good 3+ months. (bad bunny mommy) Couple weeks ago when I had
the dog at the vet, the tech told me to bring him in and he'd help me do it
so I would know how, and I hadn't gotten around to making an appointment
(bad bunny mommy). Last few days it's been really cool outside in the
mornings into the early afternoon, so yesterday I decided to put him outside
for awhile. My daughter was holding him.. he loves to snuggle up when she
holds him. She was standing there and then said "owww mom his claws are
digging in.." so I checked them... ohhh really reaalllly bad bunny mommy.
Then realized he didn't care that I was holding his paw and had my thumb
between the pads pushing the claws out... hmmmm maybe.. just maybe... get
the clippers... nice white nails on all 4 paws, easy to see where to trim...
and before I knew it, not 5 minutes later we had all the nails trimmed
perfectly without so much as a flinch from the sweet bunny. What in the
world was I so afraid of??!! LOL. I had imagined lots of shredded human body
parts resulting from trying to trim his nails.. Now if I could only get the
dog to be so calm about it....

It's ok. We are just making sure.

If the rabbit has pads ( and they can )
it is not natural but, a growth.

That is what Ronie was trying to distinguish,
I think, in a diplomatic fashion.

If not, I am saying it.
