Joanne:

What I use for the floors of my Nic condos is Clear Vinyl Carpet
protector runner. I got it at Home Depot (it's .79 cents a foot).
Measure the length you need and divide by two ... You can cut it in
half down the middle and it fits perfectly on the shelves. This is for
a one cube deep condo. It's super easy to clean, just wipe it down, or
remove it to scrub it.

I made the condo for my Bunnies 5 cubes wide, 4 cubes tall and one
cube deep. With this layout, they have 7 levels ... they use them all
and I have two bunnies living in it. I've been really pleased with it
and I believe BB and Cissy love it also ... When it's nap time they
head straight for their home and stretch out (usually on the 5th
level. They also go to bed at night on their own without any prompting
from me. (better than kids) <g>

Your fur babies deserve the best ... make them a nic cube condo :-)

They're much better in a stew. Knock the little ****er on the head, slit its
throat, rip its skin off, plop out its giblets and marinade in soy sauce and
garlic. Yum.

Joanne:
I remember when you posted about this happening, and I know it was terrible ...

I use the connectors that come with the cube kits and only use the tie wraps for
a little more stability. When the tie wraps are cut off flush with the part they
go through there aren't any real sharp edges. Another suggestion is that you
could use any kind of small rope that would hold a knot.

Is Deedy doing good now? I haven't seen any posts about her lately.

Hi Dori, all my bunnies are doing great. I'm still trying to bond Deedy and
Daisy but I don't think it will work out. They are just two stubborn
females.
Those are great suggestions... I'll keep that in mind. Thanks!

Default Nic TIP!

I remember reading somewhere that you can take a lighter and melt
the sharp edges to round them off. I've never tried it, but if
you really love the NIC cages, maybe you should try it

AND let us know if it actually works...
