arlette & cocoa

Last night was lovely...after a wonderful Christmas concert at our church
(in English and Finnish - we go to a Finnish Pentecostal church) where I got
to do a solo (in English.LOL), hubby and I set up the little five foot
spruce we cut from the bush. With a video fireplace playing on TV
(compliments of our local cable co) and my internet Christmas music, we
decorated the little tree, set atop Cocoa's old house.

Red is the theme with red mini lights, red glass beaded garland, glass
balls...Raymond decorated too: adding a few blue balls for contrast and
showing me how he liked the tinsel put on...it was very late when we sat on
the couch admiring it and cuddling in front of the 'fire'. I could almost
smell the smoke

We laughed when at that moment they played "chestnuts roasting on an open
fire"...
