Default Update on all

Well all is settled here now, well as settled as it ever is when you have a
one year old, 2 rabbits, a parrot, a dog, a house that is for sale and
Christmas is less than 2 weeks away plus I go back to work in 3 weeks after
being off for 13 months.

Bear went to the vet and got his teeth trimmed. He seems much better now. He
started eating again that night. Unfortunately Bear has been losing weight
over the last 2 months or so. He is now only 4lbs. He looks so thin. You can
feel his ribs and spine. They are testing him for EC due to some other
things going on with him.

Connor (kid) is now on antibiotics and doing much better. We had his first
birthday on Sat. I can't believe he is now 1 year old.

Jasmine seems to be doing pretty good right now which amazes the vet.

I am hoping to finish up my cards today if Connor naps and will hopefully
get them in the mail tomorrow.

Kim

Hi Kim,
I'm so glad things are somewhat improved.
It sure doesn't seem like a year since your precious boy was born!! Happy
Birthday sweet heart!!

I know Cocoa was losing weight, but I give him a few alfalfa pellets now and
pretty much as many timothy pellets as he wants. He seemed to gain the
weight back. it isn't uncommon in older rabbits to lose weight and need more
nutritional support. Cocoa eats like a piglet.
I"m sure Bear has some catching up to do with his teeth and all. Maybe some
critical care for an extended period would help.

I'm glad Jas is better.
((((Kim))))

Kim, when Tuffy was sick alfalfa hay and oats seemed to help him put on
some weight (even with the cancer) I have some very nice oxbow alfalfa hay
here if you would like me to send you some (no charge of course) God knows
Guinea doesn't need it ! Janice <Guinea... I am NOT fat, I have big
bones>

We have a terrible time getting Bear to eat hay and I don't like giving Bear
oats since he poops them out whole. I would be interested in trying the
oxbow to see if he would eat it but we are in Canada so it may cost too much
to send it.
